21 Oct The Ripple Effect – My Announcement for 2021 National President Elect
For as long as I can remember, Women’s Council of REALTORS® has been a part of my story. During the last 20+ years of my involvement, I have watched women put their hearts and minds into this organization. I have seen pride in our tradition of excellence, coupled with awareness and acceptance of the need to change and grow. I have seen tiny dreams and ideas turn into monumental strides for our organization and our industry.
As I reflect on my journey in Women’s Council so far, I see ripples. I see how one person inspiring others or advocating for change can have a positive ripple effect that is unending. I didn’t realize it right away, but have started to realize it now, that I have become a part of that ripple effect. I want to continue to encourage, empower and inspire people to be the best version of themselves, challenge themselves to push to the next level and encourage hope when needed. My vision as your President is to not only focus on the ripples created by my wake, but to also inspire all members to put their own ideas into action – to create motion – and pass along that energy and positivity in the form of their own ripple effect.
It is my great honor to officially announce my candidacy for 2021 National President Elect, and ask you to join me, as together our ripples create waves of change in our industry, our communities, and for the clients we serve.
